Utility Safety Training
VISTA Training has been focused on providing safety training products and services to electric, water and gas utilities and underground construction contractors for over 20 years. OSHA Excavation Safety Orientation (Self-study E-learning or Classroom Presentation)
This interactive, 60-90 minute pictorial-based course teaches workers how to recognize safety and health hazards when working in and around excavators and trenches and how to protect themselves and others from hazards. Spanish version also available.

VISTA is pleased to be the sole distributor of the new Protecting Yourself from Injuries: Gas Meter Change-out Guide, produced by the Consortium for Advanced Research in Gas Industries (CARGI) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Created for gas utility employees and contractors, it describes the best ways to prevent injuries while performing residential and industrial/commercial gas meter installation, service and repair.
Basic Heavy Equipment Operator Training - the Silver Series or Operation & Safety Series
VISTA's Silver Series training modules cover basic machine operation and safety principles in approximately one to two hours - perfect for new operator orientation sessions on common types of heavy equipment.
