This week's vintage safety poster reminds workers to pay attention to what you're doing on the job site - or you could inadvertently injure one of your coworkers. This startlingly violent Soviet safety poster from the 1920s, roughly translated, says "Hey, scatterbrain, don't cripple your friends." "Pay attention" sounds like an easy edict to follow, but in the real world, it seldom is. We are easily distracted by noise, surrounding activities and personal issues. In those lapses of attention, safety and productivity suffer, as this poster all too clearly demonstrates with brutal efficiency. Interested in related products?
